Each coral micro-fragment will fuse together when they are big enough. They recognise that they are from the same original coral – this is how we can grow corals up to 50x faster! A cookie is the structure that holds them in place.

The unique design is cast in cement. It provides a perfect surface for the corals to grow onto, without attracting too much algae that can fight corals for space.

We have many different prototypes with varying amounts, but our dominant design has seven individual coral micro-fragments attached.

We have a number of outplant sites located on the south coast of Grand Bahama. You’ll be able to see these in the member space!
